Star is an active company within our local community.  We were recently awarded a green shoots grant for our innovative approach to producing larger  size pressings on smaller tonnage machines , components that are normaly being produced on a 400 500 ton press now being produced on a 160 ton, this has enabled us to stay competitive in a competitive market. The Green Shoots Plus Fund aims to help small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to create new jobs and promote growth in the region. This project was supported by the Government’s Regional Growth Fund.
